Removed my OceanPro 150 to work on the transom. Now it looks like it is going to spend the winter on the motor stand.
I used sta bil in the gas the last time it ran,so that should be ok.I was thinking of removing the plugs and injecting oil into cylinders, and then turning the motor over.
Other than checking the oil in the lower unit, guess that should be good.
What do you think?

Where are you located? If you are below the snow line, you are golden...

I assume that on the stand it is standing upright, so any water int eh jackets has already drained... You should be fine...

keep the engine in a position so water cant accumulate in the lowerunit behind prop to prevent ice buildup, you can remove the carb drain plugs, yes spray some fogging fluid into cylinders,

Joe, Change the gear oil and hit the grease fittings. Spray some fogging oil into the carbs and turn it over by hand to distribute it. Remember it already has 2 cycle oil in every nook and cranny of the motor, so you don't really need to worry too much.
