Hi all,
I have a 1964 Mercury 650 that just runs fantastic. I bought it this spring with a nice small boat, but now that winter is approaching I will be taking it out of the water and storing it on the trailer well tarped and jacked up in my yard. The thing is that it gets to about 40 below here in the coldest part of the winter. Is there anything special that should be done to the motor. Fogging it? Do I drain the lower unit in case there was water infiltration? Do I have to drain any water out of the impeller and how? Or is there more that I should know.
Thanks in advance !

Thanks Mercury.G and Rick.D I looked up the links and I think I am sufficiently scared now. Thanks for the good advice. It looks like I have some work to do.
