hi gents ! i now at winterizing work for our family boats - and after draining the mercruiser 5.0 mpi of my parents boat and seeing coming tons of water out of the block after removing the drain plugs i started to doubt about my outboard where i think no drain is needed.

so. can you confirm that at my mentioned outboard all water drains out of the block by gravity when the motor is trimmed fully down and the boat is out of water ? what about the water cooled EMM ?

there seem to be no drain plugs at this engine so i think the only winterizing is to fog the cylinders. but of course i,m not interested to crack the block due to freezing when i,m wrong.

thanks for any assistance !
