Can't find winterizing information in any of our shop manuals. Is there anything different about winterizing the Hondas that is unusual? Mostly I need to know if they need to be drained, or if they are self-draining like regular outboards.

Most if not all outboards self drain when tilted down. Go to the FAQ section here at IBoats and look at "Winterizing"

Re: Winterizing a Honda

Thanks guys. Actually I've winterized literally thousands of boats. But never a Honda. At least not one of the big ones that use modified car motors. I went thru the shop manuals as I am now working for a Honda dealer. But I was astonished to see absolutely nothing about off-season storage in the factory manuals. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I'll check the FAQs to see if they're specifically mentioned. Thanks again!
