winterizing 1994 doral splash jet boat 90 hp motor.

i was wondering since this is my first jet boat,are the sportjet motors self drainning and do i have to worry about any trapped water freezing in the block.i have fogged the motor but,i,m just wondering about trapped water in the cylinder block.any info is apprecieated.

Buy a shop manual for your boat and then follow the winterizing instructions. You will need the manual for other service anyway.

Just google it -I found a free one online...

Those use a Force outboard power head it is self draining so you do not need to do anything except clear ALL the fuel from the carbs, actually to avoid issues with the carbs you should have a disconnect on the fuel line and run the engine on the hose after each use with the fuel disconnected so it runs out the fuel from the carbs avoiding old fuel evaporating from the bowls and gumming things up.
