Re: WINTERIZE

Inboard/outboard ? Frist run gas tank as low as you can, than filler up and add fuel stablizer,(I like to wash engine with soap and water than blow dry and run)gets any salt off engine touchup paint and wd-40 engine when done, change all oil and ck for water (white milkey)fresh grease at all fittings (don't forget steering) and gimble bearing if you have and work fresh grease in trun steering a few times and run engine change any filters at this time, replace any zinc, (if and inboard make sure you clean out drian cocks when running fresh water thru, when all is done drian water from block and heat riser's)after all is done and running good (any and all grease points should be done example starter shaft carb linkage shifter cable etc)time to fog engine at this time fresh water should have been run thur engine at least 15min or more run at 1500rpm spray in foging oil let it smoke bring to idle spray more oil and let it stall.let all water drian (inboards some people like to fill block with antifreeze) remove all plugs and spray cylinders with storage oil turn engine buy hand put plugs back in respray engine with wd40.I like to put rags in carbs and exhaust keeps things out.Remove batterys and top off charge once a month store off concrete concrete will kill a battery, Start next year and go.<br />But its way to early for this pleaseeee :D
