I have a pontoon boat powered by a honda 4 stroke 75hp. I am considering leaving it in the water this winter and using it occasionally during the winter. I live in the mountains of North Ga and temps can dip down pretty low but typically dont stay below freezing for mor than 24 hours or so at worst. What kind of issues can i expect to have during the winter? Is it going to be more trouble than it is worth? Any damage potential? Any tricks on cold starts etc?

The best thing you can do is leave it tilted DOWN, in the water.

Outboards self drain in the vertical position. Freezing weather causees problems when they are tilted up and water puddles in gearcases, etc.
