i might be jumping the gun but i have heard alot of different things to do at winter i know that i need to take the fuel line off and run the carb out of fuel but what else? some on told me to suck antifreese into my lower unit via a 50 gal drum cut down but that seams expensive not to mention the affect on the envirement getting it back out of the motor. any help would be great

I nominate this poster for a 1 year ban. There is NEVER EVER- EVER a reason to post a thread about this HORSE CRAP in the middle of summer!!!!

Please go GOOGLE your question, I'm not even going to read your post!!!!

LoL, yeah it is a pretty straight forward job, but one you don't want to mess up on.

I personally don't like to run the carb out of fuel, had a bad experience with a motorcycle that I did that to, the jets and such corroded badly once the air could get to them. I just use a little gas preservative.

I use plumbers anti freeze it is non toxic, and I hope environmentaly friendly.
