Winter sucks!

Haven't been out in the boat fishing since Thanksgiving, it is 12 degrees outside now and I have at least another month to wait till I can even think about going AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!

I am just in Indiana, I really don't know how you true Northerners do it.

I have completed all my boat project a long time ago so all I can do now is wander out in the garage and look at, not nearly as much fun.

At least there is football on today, well there, I vented, I don't feel any better but I got that off my chest, now to go try and heat the garage to work on my daugters transmission, another Yee-Haw

don't feel bad, i'm in FL. my boat has not been off the trailer since Thanksgiving also. i have been on the water, in many boats i service, but not on mine.

I feel your pain!!!!! I'm tired of winter and tired of sweeping the &^*&%$^ing snow off my boat cover!!!!

Past ready to be on the lake!!!!

I'm on the hard water just about every day. I can't wait to launch the boat this spring but in the mean time the fish are still biting.

You just have to make sure you maximise the use when the season starts. All other projects go on hold !!!

I feel your pain. I miss being on the water after only a week here in so cal (rain this weekend).

pack the boat away where you can't see it, and then get out the snowmobiles!

Summer and winter are great! it is the dead time between, some people call those spring & fall, but its the 2 times of the year most of my outdoor sports are shut down.

Unfortunately for us in the northern states, there isnt much you can do about winter but keep yourself busy with other projects and hobbies...well, either that or move to Florida haha

I'm in N. GA and haven't been out since October. Hoping the Southern Ground Hog was right and the one in PA is wrong! Bring on the Spring!

And yes, they had to play ice breaker to get to the main channel.

'Course, I stayed inside, all warm and stuff.

Well my awesome new boatport just took a ton of snow sliding off of my polebarn. I saw it happen. It is leaning sideways slightly, and was touching the rub rail of my boat. Luckily I removed the snow, and it straightened up somewhat. Just my luck another foot of snow is coming.

I installed this late, right before the last 2' snowfall we had in Dec. Held up great to that, but I guess 30"+ is it's limit
I will be installing a gutter and snow shields on the big roof, but not until the weather breaks.

The metal uprights should be parallel to the wood posts.

The older I get, the worse it sucks! Only thing winter's got going for it is NO dang mosquitoes, black flies, yellow flies, deer flies, horse flies, no-seeums, chiggers,etc. Yankees keep it up there!

Winter just lets us fix the summer toys (our boats, 4 wheelers, etc), and summer lets us fix the winter toys (snowmobiles, skis, etc.). Spring and fall just allows us to break both sets at the same time

Know how you feel....
I bought a new boat in November (picking it up in March), sold my old one in January.
I don't even have a boat to look at!!!
Staring at my snowblower, just ain't the same.
