My season is about to end.
I store my boat outside, covered in shrink wrap. In what position should the engine be (130 hp Honda 4 strk) -- up or down?
In the down position the skeg touches the ground. Without a battery, and limited access caused by the shrink wrap, if the boat is moved by the yard the skeg will drag, foul it and probably damage the tilt mechanism and steering cable. Even if I leave instructions, and post signs not to move it inevtiably someone will.
