Can anyone help me . I'm going to visit friends and in the area is a beautiful river with fair numbers of largemouth and smallmouth bass. The water temp is probably about 10-13deg c (50-55deg f.) Is it possible to catch bass in these temps? and how? <br />Thanks.

you might have trouble in those waters. BUt as with most types of fishing the key is structure temp clarity these will lead you to bait selection . Depends on depth and the structure you fish 0 to 15 feet any good crank spinner bait will work after that depth its a new ball game I would look for the right underwater structure and just continue to drift over it and fish the back eddy of it
