I am looking for a windshield frame for a 16' 1959 Texas Maid Fiesta does anyone have one they will part with or know where I might look, that's about all i lack for my restoration i am working on. A 18' windshield will work also, here are some pictures of the boat in case some of you don't know what it is. Thanks. Texas Maid Pics.

My guess is that you will have to design and fabricate one. Not many folks will have a spare 35 year old windshield frame laying around.

Welcome to the forum Blk-n-Blu, thats a pretty good sight but they didn't have anything near wide enough to fit my boat, mine has almost a 7' beam it think this is going to be like finding hens teeth.

It's not always easy to find that stuff. You might try Taylor Made. They make windshields. They are expensive though. I myself am going to make my own windshield for my 1962 Cutter. In the process of making the form for it now. Have also found some aluminum channel I can use for the top edge.

Well if you can find an original to take dimensions from you can make one just like it. I made 2 exact coppies of the windshields on my 1958 True Ski. Can't tell the old from the new except for the old one's being badly weather cracked. I have even made some from pics and a few dimensions from the boat.

I wish whoever had this boat before me had not thrown the one off this boat away, the only one i have found is in Austin Tx. It is a 1959 18'tahiti Texas Maid with a 85 Johnson for $600 gads I hate to drive that far to buy a complete boat just to get a windshield frame then still have to get new plexiglass cut and formed.
