Window sizing revisited!

The other day I tiled my windows vertically to have two copies of an ebay auction open and visible at one time. When I was done I just closed the tiled windows and did not use the undo tile function in the task bar.

Now every time I open a new window (except for the main browser) it opens in a half vertical window. I tried re-tiling them, then undoing tile but it did not work. I've tried expanding the window to full size then closing it from file while holding shift, or ctrl or alt. Nothing works.

Any ideas, once again??

No doubt the Ultimate Solution.
But I'd rather have a somewhat less than permanent one.

Hey Boom - Close the window using File -> Exit. It'll save your window size setting then. It WON'T save the setting if you just hit the "X" in the top right corner.

js, as I mentioned, this topic has been "revisited" (by me as well as others) I do believe that that was an earlier recomendation from Xcusme and it worked well that time. This time howerver it did not work, but

XCUSME, THANKS AGAIN, HEAPS. IT WORKED AND I SAVED THE LINK FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
