winch replacement question

How do they rate trailer winches? Just installed a fulton two speed winch rated at 2600lb. Is This winch ok on a roller trailer with a 21ft boat four winns

A 2 speed rated at that should be fine for a 21 footer,Its not actually lifting that much weight.
