Williamsburg, VA

Hope to be in Williamsburg from August 30 - Sept 6, 2003. Any hot fishing spots around? Won't be bringing a boat, so will have to rely on pier, bank, charter, rent-a-boat, etc. Don't know how much time I will have to fish - depends on what may be hitting and how convenient it will be. Any suggestions?

If you want to fish freshwater, Waller Mill Resevoir is a good fishery and they have rental boats if I recall correctly. There's a public pier in Newport News and at Buckroe Beach which is near Hampton. I'm not real familiar with what's available at Va. Beach, and it's been a few years since I was in the area...but Waller Mill was a favorite and it's right at Williamsburg.
