Will the Prop. from a 1988 fit a 2003 yamaha

I have a 1988 Yamaha 2-stroke 115 hp outboard that has now gone to haven (or hell). I am looking into getting a new 4-stroke 115 yamaha, and I was wondering if my nice Stainless Steel prop might fit onto the new engine.<br />I looked at the manual for the new engine but could not find a section telling what props fit.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Jeff

Yes, both have the K-shaft. From 60-140 hp it´s the same K-shaft.

hello<br /> yes I belive it will physically fit. its been my experience it wont be the right prop for the engine. try it and see but the 4 stroke needs to turn 58-6000 at wot<br />good luck and keep posting
