will merc prop fit force

Hi all,my dilema is that i have a force 50hp(s/n 507F9B'1989')which is pushing a 15ft chrysler striper(cathederal hull),the current prop has a few dings in it(nothing major) and it is a 3 bladded prop.will a prop for a 50hp Merc(s/n 48.77346A40L 15P, DIA 13PT 19 ALUMINIUM fit my outboard, they look similar.

No (grin all props look similar).Your prop is located on the prop shaft by a pin thru it.Merc props are located by a thrust washer.<br /><br />DHP
