Right now my tank is in the back of my boat with about 6 feet of fuel hose to the motor. I want to move the tank to under the console. The hose would then be 10 or 11 feet include primer bulb and filter. Would this cause any extra strain on the fuel pump or fuel starvation?

I ran a bow tank with a tower before, no problems.

Make sure your fuel line is of a good diamater.

-W

Howdy, 70Johnson.

My son's Boston Whaler Montauk had the tank under the seat and the filter/seperator in the console.

His Merc 90 suffered no ill effects. I don't think you would either.

Good luck. :)

Keep the line and ALL fittings a MINIMUM of 3/8" and you will be fine.
