You will get a lot of people saying NO. I will tell you though that in 1993 I bought a 14' Bayliner with a 50HP 4 stroke outboard. Everyone told me it couldn't be done, but we would wakeboard and kneeboard all day long with that little boat. In fact that is what I taught my wife with. It is slow and it did drag us somewhat (of course depending on how many people were in the boat), but it can be done especially with a 2 stroke. Look back in the day the HP that was available when people first started skiing. They made do with what they had. Best bet go and try it yourself.
