Will Force controls and connections work with EVENRUDE outboard?

Hi,<br /><br />I’m trying to upgrade my boat with more powerful outboard and I was wondering<br />If controls from my old FORCE will fit Evenrude or Johnson engine or I should buy<br />Mercury to make it work?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Alex

You'll probably get a better responce from the Evenrude or Force portion of the board. This is for Mercury/Mariner<br /><br />Craig

Yes buy a mercury! But the controls still won't work. The Force is an old Chrysler design. Whatever you get pick up a used control from ebay and get new cables.
