Will a prop from a Maxim 88 fit a Mercruiser 5.0 I/O?

I've been looking around for a cheap spare prop for emergencies and found one for sale. Guy said he can't find any typing on it to confirm size or pitch but picture looks pretty close to what I need. Said it was from a Maxim 88. I have a 1996 Marada i/o with 5.0 V8 and am currently running a 19 pitch prop. Location is on other side of town so wondering if its worth taking a look or it not even close to compatible?

Your Mercruiser (and V-6 outboards) uses props with a hub diameter of 4-3/4 inches. If the prop in question has a hub diameter of 4-3/4 inches, it should fit.

The other possible size might be 4-1/4 inches, which is the size that fits intermediate outboards, like a 115 Mercury. The smaller diameter hub won't work on your Mercruiser.
