wide one humminbird transducer

Hello again.. I have a humminbird wide one transducer that someone cut the transducer end from. Why, i dont know. Now i know it's not a great unit, but it worked great for me. I know i can buy a replacement transducer for 50- 60 bucks, but i can replace the whole unit for not muck more. Are all tranducers created equal, and maybe if i found a cheap one, i could splice it on to my wire? I still have the connector end attached.. Thanks

All xducers are not created equal. If you do some searching in Humminbird's web site you should be able to create a list of units that use the same xducer.

I e-mailed em, and they said they dont stock them any more. Fairly common, but still expensive..Oh Well. If anyone needs a wide one head unit, let me know.
