Why not heat the cabin with 225?

Heatercraft style heaters require a hot water line to feed their catalytic system. So, why can't I do that with a 225? I mean, there is obviously hot water being created. I have successfully taped a BF15D to have some of the hot bwater created end up into an aluminum box. I wash hands with the water.

If I tapped the 225, I need to know where on the motor I could do that? Considerations are taking too much water from a circulating system and cause over heating--maybe a recirc line?

What do you guys think?

There's a thread started in stupid human tricks on boat heaters might be worth checking out.

I have a good 1.5-2hour trip each way to my Hali grounds. Hot water is free and the install would be easy.

Anyone else with comments?

Easy?Have you tried to cram all the stock stuff through that grommet let alone a set of heater hoses? These things run only 160-170 degrees so the comfort level by the time that warmth reaches the cabin or helm would likely be dissapointing.
