Why is my motor so slow please help

This Is no throttle then second pic is wot the carb is only opening half way if that
thats what it feels like on the water slow as
Please someone help how do I fix this

Did you pull the air box and confirm whether the butterfly is wide open? If not, the throttle cable might need adjusting, but the throttle cam seems to be wide open.

That's due to run a detuned 25 HP motor with a wrong prop.. Which type, size, number of passengers are you powering that combo with a 25 HP motor ?

I noticed the lock out screw for the throttle linkage was set to wot in neutral gear!!!
thus not allowing it to go any further in fwd gear.
So I backed it off, wot in fwd gear then screwed it in till it just hit n tightened the nut.

Now the carb is opening fully in fwd gear
This should solve the problem I think

Does this sound right

Yep, that's the spot the roller rests when the throttle grip is at wot...
