I had to pull back on the throttle, I was clicking past things before I was finished. Looking good guys! Edit: I feel we/you've crested the peak.:tea:

Feels like it for sure. Admin is now starting to tackle all of the tweaking things. Still some big picture work as well, but it definitely feels more like a forum. Funny how simple it is to make us happy after we have been through a really rough patch. Simply getting pages to load this quickly seems to have taken the edge off of the other issues

You're right on with this QC! The forum speed is as good as ever now, maybe even better! Good Work to all involved! ;) I do have one small issue though, the "New Topics" link is gone from the top of the home page again, is it possible to restore it without to much of a hassle? Otherwise we all have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to click on "new topics", but Thanks for all you've done so far! :thumb:

Mik, I saw you posted that issue before, I have New Topics at the top and bottom. At the moment, you're the only one that I've heard who has that issue. Maybe a screenshot would help?

Like Mike, I only have a text link for new topics at the bottom of the page, I don't have one on the top.

So it's too fast now, FF? :joyous:

Hey Mik/MT - What are you using for Forum access? The IT guys might need to tweak a browser/OS specific setting.

Are you missing anything else at the top of the page that you're aware of? The large Search box, BP & A, Boats for Sale, Boating Community etc..?

I have as follows, left hand side, Iboats logo, right hand side, buttons for Boat Parts & Acc, Boats For Sale, Boating Community, Search Iboats, and under that starting from right to left, the large search box, on the left the Forums Button, below that, Mark Channels Read, and member list.

The only New topics I am seeing is at the bottom above the iboats Boating Forum Directory, is a Text link for HOME and New Topics.

I have the exact same thing. Except, if I log out the "New Topics" button returns to the top left side right under the "Forums" button. As soon as I log back in the "New Topics" button disappears.

This interesting, but not in a good way. If I log out, have "Today's Topics" under "Forums"

I also am missing the new topics on the top (looks like MikDee's above)

three different computers (and operating systems - XP Pro, Win 7 and Win 7 pro), however running firefox. Also checked Internet Exploder, and the upper does not show up either.

I was doing some testing and saw the same. Passed on to toneeees.
