Who wants to fish the Kingdom of the Possum?

I need to fish before it gets too danged hot. I live about 30 miles from Possum Kingdom. <br /><br />I am vaguely familiar with the lake from boat testing but haven't fished it much. I do have it on Fishing Hotspots in my Garmin GPS and I have a Boston Whaler Montauk rigged to fish.<br /><br />Is there some other retired fisherman (or fisherlady)in this vicinity who would like to join me on a few weekday excursions? I stay off the water on weekends unless I am in the wilderness.<br /><br />Let me know!

I'd go JB but I'm heading North here in about three hours. Where I'm going is not a kingdom but pretty close. Will post you if I have anything to brag about.

JB, I'll be down in Laredo from July 11th to July 18th with the wife. She say's, "finally a trip that doesn't involve fishing." I told her I was bringing my rod just as a joke. One of these years I'd like to rent an RV and travel to Lake Fork and anywhere else down there that's good. I have alot of family in Laredo. Too bad none of my family down there is really into to fishing.

i'm truly amazed you're not swamped with bites on a feeshin trip in that loaded out boat'o yourz <br />i hate driving across atlanta, much less across several states, otherwise i'd be begging for it.<br /><br />i gotta neat fish-I.D. test i found... check it out - i'm about to open a new post for it
