what do you do, and where are you from?

I am Mac,( I go by Ahoy49 on here), retired union carpenter, and from St. Louis, Missouri. We have a 1983 Celebrity 18 foot bow rider. My wife & I just got into pleasure boating this year. I must say we love it.

I am John, was in consturction as a project manager, now in sales and marketing, have a 30' scara sport and the wife and I love boating. Grew up on an island, rowed through highschool and have never lived without the water!

My Name is Theo I worked in HVAC/R industry for 15+ years now I am a full time student at a local university. I have a 24 ft. Mach 1 Magnum and wish I had the finances to do more boating than I currently have but that will change in due time. In the mean time I will study hard and be patient (s#cks only getting out 2 or 3 times a year)

I am Jim. I live in NE Georgia and I'm a Regional Senior Vice President for a Large Bank. I boat mostly on Lake Hartwell, and Lake Russell. I take the ocasional trip to one of the NE GA lakes such as Chatuge and Burton. I have been boating since I was born and have owned 8 different boats. Current boat is 2008 Larson LXI 208 and I love this boat.

I'm Michael, retired Army and 55. My wife Dawn and I have had a 1988 23 ft Imperial I/O for 3 months now trying to get it seaworthy on a shoestring budget. I'm semi-employed, and she's a nurse.

We live on the Gulf coast of Florida, but we're transplants from Atlanta (3 years ago) where we boated on Lake Lanier..

I am Phil from Kokomo Indiana and I am a Quality Supervisor over auto parts supplied to foreign and domestic car companies and have worked at about every car plant in the US. I have a 1989 Baja 216 Islander that is in the process of a complete rebuild.

Luke here. I'm investments. I'm 38 and live in beautiful central Arkansas within an hour of several outstanding lakes and rivers, one of which is the Arkansas River, which I can see from my window as I type. When I was a kid all we ever had was a small jon boat with a motor that might or might not start on any given day, but that was the best my dad could do. He always did the best he could for us. My wife and I decided we wanted our little girl to grow up with boats, so we took the plunge a few years ago. No regrets.

My name is Ryan, 35, from Darlington, SC. I am a project manager for a CM firm. My wife and I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 horses. Bought 91 Bayliner 2050 bowrider for p-nuts 2 months ago in need of a little work. Now the boat is running great-on muffs that is, but the trailer is not safe to tow. I am waiting on a new custom axle and all related items before giving it the first sea trial.

I'm Eric. I am a Software QA Engineer living in the north part of the Atlanta Metro. I have a wife and two beautiful daughters, ages 4 and 5. I have a 1976 YarCraft Yankee that I just verified is water-worthy, but still have some issues with the motor to work out. Its the third boat I've owned since deciding I wanted something to fish out of back in 1998. I grew up in Miami, FL so although I've never owned one, I've been around boats most of my life. My boating/fishing lake is Lake Lanier, but I also fish in the Chattahoochee as well as in some of the North GA streams.

Tyler, 26. I was born and raised in Toledo Ohio. Married a ****ry girl and bought a house 5 miles past BFE!. We have two kids, one girl 4, one boy 2. I work for First Solar Inc, in a lab and I get paid to break solar panels.

I come from a long line of sea-dogs, my Grandfather is a retired captain of several great lake Freighters.

I bought my first bought 3yrs ago but have been on or around water my hole life, Hard not to with Lake Erie in your back yard. I am currantly finishing up a total re-fit/re-design of my boat and hope to splash in for the first time this year soon. The boat is a 1987 Four Winns 215 Sundowner powered by a completly rebuilt and upgraded 3.7L 180Hp Mercruiser.

Dianne here. Descended from generations of North Atlantic mariners and captained my first ship shy of 20 years of age. Now, nearly 40 years later, command the Privateer and sail Lake of the Woods in search of rich ships to plunder. Currently in the process of adding a larger heavier ship to steal away with more booty!

By day I am a meek (<--- BAW HA HA!!!!) techie in the I.T. field and hide out in rural Manitoba.

I am Bruce, retired in 2000 at 49 due to health issues, but have determined not to let it stop my passion for living. We currently have a fleet of boats, but want to get down to one. If anyone's interested we have a perfectly good 1988 Larson 250 Delta Cruiser for sale, mechanically rebuilt over the last 2 years.

The one we love is a Carver Sentago 2767 mid cabin with dual 4.3 Mercruisers. At this time one engine is getting a valve job, but hey....it's a boat.....bring money....

We cruise the St. Lawrence River and the Rideau Canal, with plans of seeing what is on the US side of Lake Ontario.

My name is Pat. Living life in Tampa Bay. I am a Med Lab Tech and a SQL programmer.

Grew up in Indiana and as youngsters, we made a couple of trips down here to Florida for the fishing. Convinced me to move down here and get my own boat.

Have spent the last 3 years rebuilding a 1989, 20 foot Arrow Glass Coho center console that I have named ?3/4 Time?. Just recently got her into the water and am looking forward to fishing and cruising in the Bay.

I'm andy (if you hadnt already guessed) and I am a radio DJ in upstate ny (my station is heard mostly in Montreal and Cornwall, Ontario). 30 years old, married to my wife Chantal for 4 years now, 3 kids 14, 10 and 4. been boating for 3 years now, 2nd boat 1970 starcraft jupiter with an 85 hp evinrude. we boat on a small lake about 15 miles from us every chance we get... usually its the weather or broken boat that stops us.
