I recently bought an older flat bottom aluminum 17' Jon boat that has no identifying information other than the hull id # engraved on the outside of the transom. I would like to contact the manufacturer if they are still in business to try and obtain a certificate of origin for title purposes or at least find out age, model, etc.
The ID # begins with "HUL" and followed by some numbers. It is located on the upper right of the back of the transom.
If anyone who has seen a vessel ID beginning with HUL and knows who the mfr is I would appreciate a reply.
