Who do you miss?

I miss Castawayray in spite of his little red truck.
Sometimes I think that technostingray was one of his reincarnations.

The last time I talked to Castawayray was back in the winter and he was not doing good at all.
Neither was his wife. Both had kidney problems and he was going downhill pretty quick.
I emailed him about 6 months ago and never got an answer.

I miss Alden. Hopefully he lurks still, but I don't think he has posted in a looooong time. I was about to setup a hotkey for LOL @ Alden

I thought I have seen alden in the past couple of months. Definitely not as active as he was earlier in the year though.

I miss Techno. You never knew what he was going to post, and sometimes its meaning wasn't obvious.

achris, he helped me out with a couple a problems i had when i first found this forum. he was most helpful to me.......think i saw him post a few quick posts a little bit ago, but seems gone again....

I'll second castawayray. those were the days. he was quite the wordsmith imo. to date i'll still chuckle over a comment of his regarding Rosie O. in the part she played as Wilma Flintstone. G-D, that was funny.

He still shows up now and then but I miss Sloopy, the sloopster. There is something so refreshing about communicating with the younger members.

Now we have at least a few younger boaters. . .Boatboy, Pony, et al.

I don't think anyone would be surprised that I don't miss. . . . well, fill in the blanks.

Some of the other younger members show up only once in a blue moon. baconbiscut only shows when he has a question. What about bass-a-holic? He came for a while, seemed like he liked it here, then just disapeered like too many others.



CustomBCrunch was an okay member. He probably was a little too political, and arguementative, but after many PMs, I learned to like him.
