To get an idea on the value of your outboard, go to eBay and search completed auctions for "Johnson 10 hp" (no quotes). You'll find a lot of them that have sold, and should be able to compare the prices they got.<br /><br />That said, the price will be almost totally dependent on the condition of your outboard. If it runs perfectly and you can show it running in a tank, then the price will shoot up. If you include the old pressure tank, in good condition, the price will go up again. If the outboard is in excellent cosmetic condition, more increase in price.<br /><br />If, on the other hand, it doesn't run, there's no tank, and it's ugly, it won't be worth much at all.
