Which Volvo manual to get?

Today, I purchased a 1997 Glastron SE175 with a V6 4.3L Volvo Penta. This is my first boat and needless to say, Im very excited. I had a mechanic test out the engine/outdrive and he says pretty much everything is in order.

However, Id like to buy a good repair manual so that I can do basic things. For example, the mechanic suggested I change the gaskets on the risers. Which book would be the best for these types of things? OEM or aftermarket?

I searched the forum, but did not find a definitive answer. Thanks in advance!

I'd personally get the OEM if you can and a Seloc next. Clymer's have a little to be desired.

What is the model number of your engine? Should start with 4.3 then have a series of around 5 or more letters.
I can get you the manual numbers.
Anything but a clymers..........
Even the Seloc are ok if all you want is basic tuneup and drive service. Major troubleshooting, drive or engine repair requires the OEM manuals. And there are several for each model year.
They were using the OMC method (or the "look here, no, here, no here, maybe here method") for manuals in 97.
