I have a 1991 Mariaha 1900z on a single axle trailer.I have owned it for 5 years.I don't tow it very far but I want to put new tires on trailer.
The people i bought it from had put car tires on it,I know no,no.That is why I want to replace them, man do they sqwat down.Anyway on the tounge of trailer it says to use 205-75-14.The people had put 195-75-14 on it.These 195-75-14 really fill the fender area.I was going to put 205-75-14 on it.Can some one tell me if there is much height difference between these 2.
Thanks:D

do some reading at championtrailers.com they have a good informational section on their site. if it says use 205-75/14 use them or you are overloading the engineering. your springs may be weak, add a leaf.

Depends on the brand and type of the tire but the overall diameter is 0.6" bigger. Of course you would only be worried about half of that distance for fender clearance.

On a 205-75 tire, the 205 is the width in mm and the 75 means that the sidewall height is 75% of the the width. In this case the difference is 10mm * 0.75 = 7.5mm which is around 0.3".
