Looking for thoughts on PVC glue. I need to add 6 D-rings to the outside of my boat and was looking for the best stuff to create a long term bond. Anyone thats experienced in doing these types of mods, I would appreciate your input as well :) Thanks guys for all of the help with setting up my rig.

Stabond will serve you well, but be sure to follow the instructions to the letter. No shortcuts. Surface prep and rolling out any air bubbles after gluing are more important than which brand you use. Good luck.

You have to use a 2 part glue, and you must allow for drying time. You generally need 48 hours

I picked up the Stabond with the tools to rasp the surface and prep it. Still waiting on the glue to come in, I tried to find it locally but no luck.

No Title

Well update to the boat. I had alot of success with patching these D-Rings on, but still had one that was a bit sloppy. I am still cleaning the glue up. They seemed to bond extremely well, though they definitely look amature. If I was going to redo the whole thing, I would've had a heat gun of some sort to make the D-Ring more plyable. It was extremely rigid near the ring and would create a pocket around that area that would pull away from the glue, so I babysat it until it bound. Here's some pics of the progress.

Also on a side note, I had the worst customer service experience with NRS. Mischarged my card, mis-shipped me parts, and I'm still missing bolts. At least the frame is solid and looks like it will work awesome turning this raft into a full fisherboat.
