which Prop 2005 Merc 115 EFI 4 Stroke

Hi, I'm new to the forum, great site.

Would like to know what is the recommended prop / pitch for my 2005 Starcraft 24 foot Pontoon powered by the Mercury EFI 4 Stroke 115. The first prop that was on it, was wrong from the dealer, didn't find this out until I bent the prop. Second prop which I think is a 13 or 14, can't remember seems to help, but can't get out of the 46 - 48,00 RPM Range. I think the range for the 115 is between 5 and 6K. Anyone have any suggestions on the type of prop and pitch I should be running? Thanks

You are correct about the max recommended RPM for that motor 5000-6000
I would drop down to a 14 x 9 pitch

Thanks for the info, I picked up a 14x11 today, will try that. Will keep going till I find the right one. Thanks for the help
