1979 Evinrude 6 horse (6905). Bought this motor a few months ago and it has been great. I troll with it a lot. 6 to 10 hours a day, 2 or 3 days a week. At least. Using 87 octane with 50:1 Quicksilver TC-W3. When I got it I replace the plugs with Champ. L78V's (surface gap) because they were recommended on a little tag attached to one of the plug wires. The other day they were fouled to the point that the top one wouldn't spark. The bottom one was almost as bad. Was able to wipe the gunk off and was back to normal. I "think" I have the carb adjusted properly. The manual lists an alternate plug. Champ. L77J4 at .040. Which one is best for all the tolling I do? Is fouling just going to happen because of the constant low speed operation? Would putting Seafoam or OMC 2+4 in every tank help?

You will have probably no fouling if you use a synthetic oil. and because you troll a lot, you will have a much cleaner engine. If you decide to switch, do a good decarb first, then things start out clean.
