I have a Mercury 115 has the splined and tapered prop shaft. Switching to a Laser II 48-16990 20 pitch. I have 2 thrust washers I think the correct one is on the left in the attached pictures it is part number 75282. The prop seems to be at the correct depth with this one and the nut would be at the correct depth. My only concern is it is a flat washer for some reason I think I need one that has a ridge so it pushes on the center of the hub only and not the surrounding sleeve. Or am I thinking way to much into this and I just need to bolt it on with the 75282 thrust washer? Also the prop hits the anode but I assume I can just trim the anode to allow enough clearance? Thanks

There are at least three styles of zinc anode. One has the full fin(yours), another has a setback smaller fin and one has no fin at all. Either of the latter should fix that problem. Normally the prop manufacturer will suggest a thrust washer. Use that one.

That would help if I had the instructions. What is the part number of the "recommended" thrust washer for a Laser 2 Prop 48-16990-20?
