I am interested to hear from as many of you as possible on this one. I am going to buy a shop manual for my Honda outboard (BF9.9D). So far it looks to me like there are 2 options, Seloc and Honda:

Which one is better, and why? I am looking for clear and sharp line drawings, clear and sharp photos, and good clear English, not poorly translated "Chinglish."

Thanks,
Tom

I bought the Honda Shop Manual and it has arrived. It is very well written and the drawings are very clear. There are essentially no typographical or grammatical errors, and all of the written descriptions are very clear. Each step in a given procedure is illustrated by a detailed line drawing immediately to the right of the step. I have not seen the SELOC manual, so my comparison is one-sided. The Honda Shop Manual is excellent. I have no conflicting financial interest in either of these manuals.
Thanks,
Tom

Selocs make half decent knee pads. A factory manual is always the best choice.
