Hi, everyone I have a 2001 stingray 220lx with a mercur 5.7 efi motor, I believe the prop that I have now is a 20 pitch four blade. I am going to be using the boat in the summer mainly for holding between 4-8 people and for tubing and wake boarding, could anyone clarify what the differences in props are ? Or recommend what would be best for me and why ?

Thank you in advance

At the top off the prop list of threads, "Read this first". Start there.

For you uses a 4 blade is generally ideal compared to a 3, since 4 blades accelerate faster, carry heavy loads better, plane at lower speeds. You generally lose a couple mph of top speed.
There is lots written on this topic.

Based on my experience with a 20' boat, 5.7 engine, and 8 or so people in it I think you've probably got the right prop. 4 blade for sure. You could change the pitch a bit for better hole shot or better top speed but I'd run it a while first before doing that. I think you'll like what you have.
