I am adding a Garmin GSD 21 Sounder Module to my 2010c Chartplotter and I need HELP selecting a transducer. I basically fish inside Narragansett Bay RI for striped bass & bluefish on a small center console. Generally, I fish in water 100' or less. Max depth inside of Newport would be 150' maximum.
I am between two of Garmin's products:
200 Khz 45/15 Dual beam 010-10249-00
200/50 Khz, 10/40 010-10272-00
I know these are less expensive transducers. They are plug & play with the GSD 21. I will listen to other recommendations, but I like these and they are readily available and in my budget.
I would like to get something ordered over the weekend...............
