Which direction to install bravo 3 prop nut

I purchased new prop nuts for my bravo 3 and don't know which direction to install them? Does the Teflon end go on first or reverse? I don't have a reference from original because it's a repower.

the Teflon is what locks the threads so it cant back off so it goes on the outside
