Which direction does the shift shaft tab go?

I am trying to reassemble my pre-alpha lower/upper together and I need to know what orientation to put the shift tab for the shift shaft.<br /><br />I know that forward puts it in forward and that 90 degrees puts it in reverse, problem is I don't remember whether that is 90 degrees to the port or to the starboard?

90° aimed to port (Counterclockwise) would be reverse.. Straight forward will be forward
