which brand of manual?

I would like to know which brand of manual would go into the most detail for rebuilding lower unit on a '72 evinrude 65hp. I see that there are several manuals for this particular motor thanks in advance

The factory manual. Go to "Ken Cook Marine Publications". If you get the parts book too, it has exploded views of everything. If your serious about working on your own engine, make the investment.<br /><br />g'luck & c/6<br /><br />Hooty

Howdy, DReese.<br /><br />I have some Clymer and some Seloc as well as some OEM OMC manuals.<br /><br />Seloc give more graphics and detail than Clymer, but the quality of the paper, printing and binding really sux.<br /><br />OEM manuals are the best, hands down, for a particular model.
