Which Boat to Buy?

Let me start off by saying I'm a bow rider person who currently has a 20ft 200 select Sea Ray.
I'm out on the bay and as I get older am looking for a used boat with a more comfortable ride (less pounding) without breaking the bank. I want it to be a family boat that I can do some fishing on. It seems once I look in the 22ft range the prices skyrocket.
Currently, I have it narrowed down to the Key West 203 DFS, Sea Hunt 211 Escape or 211 Ultra.
I like the Sea hunts due to its "Carolina flare". Before I didn't like center consoles but am reconsidering since I've been out with my buddy on the Freedom Boat Club.
As we all know you usually don't buy what you first starting looking for.

I'm in the 35K range and trying to keep hours lower than 250. Should I stay away from an outboard 4 stroke with over 400hrs?

Any suggestions or comments would be greaty appreciated.

Not sure about the hours on that OB but it sounds like you want something with less maintenance also? If so OB power is the way to go. A lot less headaches that you have with a sterndrive i.e. accees to the engine for maintenance, winterizing if you live in a cold climate, etc.

I would never own another I/O.

400 hours is barely broken in.

I personally know of several with over 2500 hours and still going strong

My buddy has a charter boat, currently at 4300 hours on his outboards.
