I have a 71# thrust 24 volt motor guide and I can't decide between the Srm 27 battery from interstate and the mf 27 or 29,30(someone said they didn't make the 30 anymore not sure I'd this is true) from AC delco any experiences or help would be appreciated delco battery has a longer warranty too

Thank you

The numbers 27, 29, 30 are not amp ratings -- they are physical size (group size). You want a group size 27 as a minimum and it really doesn't matter who the manufacturer is. Check the reserve capacity (should be about 200 minutes for a group size 27 battery) and price.

I've run AC Delco Voyager grp. 27 on the boat for the past 7 years. Finally had to replace one last summer. My supplier no longer carries AC Delco so I went with the Interstate grp. 27 as its replacement. I'll let you know in 5-7 years which one is better
