Okay.. I'm dewinterizing my '98 Regal 2100 LSR and
For the first time in my life, I cannot find the oil filter
on a V6 engine! (this is my first I/O)
Can someone tell me where to find this thing?!

If you are facing the motor, it will be your RH side. All the way back on the engine block and all the way down. Typical GM location. Goodluck!

Usually there is no de winterizing... it's all done in the winter. That way come spring you are ready to go. No hassles.

Unless you have a remote oil filter, then it would be just above the port exhaust manifold, mounted on the riser.

There are plenty of things to do for de winterizing before heading to the water, might look at at Adults Only sticky at the summerization thread.
