Re: where tof find cheap axle or parts
I rebuilt my trailer with parts I bough from <br />
http://www.championtrailers.com. They custom make the axel (or axels) and their website shows how to measure. It was about $125 for their top of the line with disk brakes. I had to buy the brake kit another $399 and ended up with new coupler, stainless steel brake lines, new brakes, and new axel and very happy. Shipping was from Louisianna but it was under a hundred bucks to ship. I am in California and oould not find all the parts I needed here. The axels are generic by weight. I got a 3500 lb. single axel and replaced my old 3000 lb single axel, it was a bolt on replacement. The width was custom made per my specs. This axel has a superior lube system to buddy bearings, so that was upgraded as well, and I threw away my old worn out drum brakes.
