where to refill trim cylander on 1990 50 hp?

I have 1900 Evinrude 50 hp 2cylanders, 2 stroke, Where do I refill the fluid? and what kind of fluid does it need? It is stuck , used to get it up and down by hand. now it is a lot harder to lift it up by hand. Model #VE50BELESR , S/N G02535055. Thank you for any suggestions.

Theres a fill plug on one side. The top plug.
Post a photo if you are uncertain.
I put atf dexron 2 in my ones, i dont know if that one needs anything more specific.
If its stuck its probably the valve playing up, or the motor.
You could try undoing all plugs in turn and inspecting the parts which come out.
Compare them to what you see on your engines schematic on marine engine . com

this one looks different from what I see on website. it has only 1 cylander and 1 cable screwed to it on the side. On top close to transom, it has a tab to tilt forward to lock, backward to release. Thank you.

Sounds like you have the old manual assist tilt. If you do there is no place to fill it and the cylinder will have to be replaced. Go to shop.evinrude.com and look up your mtr. You'll see what I mean.

No you have to replace the whole cylinder.
