well ok KBB doesn't make a blue book for boats so I'm told, and that NADA thing is just a waste of time ( the values are way too low )

I need to look up pricing on several different makes, models and years of boats

thanks

Depends on what you need it for. NADA is what my bank uses, so its what I go by when purchasing. If trying to sell, I'll look at Clist and eBay to get an idea of the current market. HTH.

Well NADA places suggested values and it is a guide book....not a rule book. It bases it's information on location, sales reports, auction reports......

You have to do your own comparison shopping from local ads, ebay and CL.

Dealer prices are suggested MSRP and are "starting" prices...... people negotiate from there.

I think NADA is about all there is for used boat pricing. I just did a google search, part of which took me to a yahoo search, the only other thing I found was buc.com, but did not find an online book there, paper you could buy. It looks like you will have to search cl, ebay, boat trader and places like that to get an idea of value.

boats aren't really like vehicles, much smaller volume, so the price is whatever you can find a buyer to bite at.

Re: where to get kelly blue book for boats

I have found NADA to be pretty close to SELLING prices.

if thats the case I'd buy just about everyone you put in front of me

perfect example of the idiocy......looking at a particular 2005 skiff type boat on CL, sells for approx $ 4000 anywhere in FL, but NADA showes the boat only is worth $ 650-875
I know based on motor manuf and type ( hp ) can vary , but at that rate the price for the motor is not justified in relation to the rest of the boat ?????
