Welcome to iboats.
Sorry to say but you are on your own here, very few boats have owners manuals like cars do, especially wiring diagrams, you can't even get them for new boats much less 35 year old ones.
I really doubt after that much time that it is still wired like it came from the factory and if it were most of the wires would be shot anyhow.
