Where to connect tach sender on Merc?

I have a 1997 Mercury 90 hp I am installing a new teleflex tach. Where does the tach sender connect on this engine?

You should have a patch lead in or behind the control box with a grey and purple wire. Grey is the tach signal, purple is ignition hot. Find a ground wire and you are good to go.
